The Aims of Green Peak Gear are to:
1.Prevent climbing equipment going to land fill at the end of its life
2.Create employment and skills development opportunities
3.Donate profit to the BMC Access and Conservation Trust (the charitable arm of the British Mountaineering Council)
4.Find innovative way of re-using rope and other climbing gear
Assuming Green Peak Gear’s initial activities are successful we will look to reuse and recycle gear from other outdoor sports.
